Shaquille O"Neal's Son Eligible For NBA Draft

LeBron James's son may be two years away from the NBA Draft, but another legendary Laker's offspring is officially eligible for the Draft this year.

Shareef O'Neal is 6'10", out of LSU (like father, like son), and has workouts scheduled with some NBA teams.

The junior played the last two seasons at LSU, after missing his freshman season at UCLA due to a heart ailment that required surgery. O'Neal played 14 games last season at LSU and averaged 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.

Shareef's father, Shaquille O'Neal, is a basketball Hall of Famer, one of the greatest centers in the history of the NBA. The 7'1" big man won 4 NBA championships, 3 Finals MVPs, one league MVP and 15 All-Star selections.

He says of his son Shareef, that he's "a Giannis (Antetokounmpo) with a jump shot."

The NBA Draft will be hold June 23rd.
