Video: Basketball World Buzzing After Bronny James Brings Down The Hammer!

Those bloodlines are paying off handsomely so far for LeBron James' 17-year-old son Bronny. The entire basketball world is buzzing after watching him throw down the hammer in an under-18 exhibition match against a French national team.

Bronny sent the crowd and his teammates into a tizzy with the one-handed "bombardment" of a slam. And dad noticed too:

"OH MY GOODNESS BRONNY!!!!!" screamed LeBron over Twitter.

The younger James showed elite leaping ability, plus speed and quickness on the play in addition to some power.

At an estimated 6'3", Bonny doesn't quite have the same strength and size that pops had at his age, and he's expected, at this point, to top out as perhaps a 2nd-round draft pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

But knowing that LeBron has stated repeatedly that he wants to play on the same team as his son in the NBA before he retires, there will be plenty of teams jockeying for position for Bronny. LeBron would be approaching 40 at that point, but seeing how he played in his age-37 season (a miraculous 30 points per game), no one is doubting his ability to be playing at an elite level.
