Former NBA Champ Signs In China

He's a five-year veteran of the NBA wars, with a championship ring on his finger from his time as a member of the 2018 Golden State Warriors. Now, center Jordan Bell is ready to continue his career in China.

Bell has signed a contract for the 2022-23 season with the Guangzhou Long-Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, and is now teammates with another former NBA champion, Jeremy Lin, who also signed with the Lions this week

The 27-year-old Bell has suited up for five different NBA teams in his five years in the league, but never quite secured a full-time rotation role. He averaged a career-high 14.2 minutes a game in his rookie season with the 2018 title-winning Warriors, posting 4.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and one block in his 57 games that season.

He holds career NBA marks of 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game.

The 6'8" center had a nice season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the G League last season, averaging 13.5 points and 10.6 rebounds.

This will be his debut overseas, as he looks to establish himself as a dependable big man, and perhaps a possible return to North America in the future.
