Full List Of Free Agent Guards Still Available

Teams are putting the finishing touches on their training camp rosters, with Media Day coming up within the week, and pre-season games just over a week away.

NBA teams still in need of some guard depth are no doubt perusing the following list of still-available backcourt free agents.

Point Guards

  • D.J. Augustin (35)
  • Eric Bledsoe (33)
  • Facundo Campazzo (31)
  • Michael Carter-Williams (31)
  • Darren Collison (35)
  • Devon Dotson (23)
  • Kris Dunn (28)
  • Brandon Goodwin (27)
  • Frank Jackson (24)
  • Brandon Knight (31)
  • Elfrid Payton (28)
  • Rajon Rondo (36)
  • Dennis Smith Jr. (25)
  • Keifer Sykes (29)
  • Tyrell Terry (22)
  • Isaiah Thomas (33)
  • Brad Wanamaker (33)
This list ranges from a 36-year-old two-time NBA champion (Rajon Rondo) to a 24-year-old former lottery pick (Dennis Smith Jr.). The latter, Smith, was the No. 9 overall pick in 2017, and had quite the impressive rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 15.2 points and 5.2 assists in 2017-18.

But it's been all downhill from there for Smith, who's been a forgotten man the past three seasons, averaging less than six points per game for three different teams.

Isaiah Thomas had a nice 17-game stretch to finish the season with the Charlotte Hornets, and would make a nice depth piece for a team looking for leadership and a bit of scoring off the bench.

Shooting Guards

  • Avery Bradley (32)
  • Armoni Brooks (24)
  • Chaundee Brown (24)
  • Rob Edwards (25)
  • Wayne Ellington (35)
  • Melvin Frazier (26)
  • Langston Galloway (31)
  • Nate Hinton (23)
  • Mason Jones (24)
  • Jeremy Lamb (30)
  • Scottie Lewis (22)
  • Skylar Mays (25)
  • Ben McLemore (29)
  • E’Twaun Moore (33)
  • Mychal Mulder (28)
  • Jahmi’us Ramsey (21)
  • Jay Scrubb (22)
  • Nik Stauskas (29)
  • D.J. Stewart Jr. (23)
  • Matt Thomas (28)
  • Lou Williams (36)

This is an unwieldy list, so we recently tried to put it in perspective, with our look at the Top 3 Shooting Guards still available.

There are some decent three-point gunners on this list that would make for a nice piece off a team's bench when a little floor spacing is needed.
