3 Teams Head Up Betting Odds For Championship

As the NBA season gets set to tip off Tuesday night, it appears that we're heading into a season that's as wide open as any in recent years. No less than three teams are tied at the top for best odds to win the championship. 

The Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and defending champion Golden State Warriors are all sitting with the best odds, at +700. 

All three teams will be facing challenges, however. The Celtics have a new head coach, and will need to get past the drama of the ugly Ime Udoka situation; the Warriors need to prove that the Draymond Green/Jordan Poole tension won't upset their season; and the Clippers have to ensure they handle their Kawhi Leonard load management properly if he is to return to be one of the top players in the game after missing the entire season last year. 

Shortly back of those top three, the 2021 champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, are next at +800, while the drama-filled Brooklyn Nets are at +900. 

Other teams in the top 10 of betting odds for the championship include the Phoenix Suns (+1400), the Philadelphia 76ers (+1500), then the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat. 

And because you're probably wondering, the Los Angeles Lakers are at +2700 (tied with the Dallas Mavericks).
