NBA Rumors: Pistons To Find New Home For 4-Time All-Star

He's a 4-time All-Star, with a career average of nearly 20 points per game. But injuries have derailed the career of 11-year veteran Kemba Walker. He was sent to the Detroit Pistons as salary-filler in an offseason deal. But the Pistons are on a serious youth kick, and have agreed to work hard to find a taker for the 32-year-old veteran.

Pistons general manager Troy Weaver says the team has an agreement with the well-liked Walker to work on a deal to find somewhere for him to play this season. Walker was already told not to come to training camp.

He only played 37 games last season for the New York Knicks, averaging 11.6 points and 3.5 assists in 25 minutes per game. He was only able to play in 43 games and 56 games in the two previous seasons for the Boston Celtics, but he did still average 20 points and nearly 5 assists when he did get on the floor in those two seasons.

Walker was an All-Star four straight seasons from 2016 through 2020, three of those with the Charlotte Hornets, where he spent the first 8 years of his career.
