Thunder Sign Free Agent Guard To Multi-Year Deal

Just two days after being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers, former Arkansas Razorback star guard Isaiah Joe has been scooped up by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Joe is entering his 3rd season, after spending two years with the Sixers getting limited minutes. He averaged 3.7 minutes over about 11 minutes per game.

He's signing a multi-year deal with the Thunder, and joins his former Razorback teammate Jaylin Williams.

To make room for Joe, OKC waived David Nwaba, who was acquired in the 8-player trade from the Houston Rockets.

The 6'5" guard, Joe has a nice little run in the G League playoffs with the Philly affiliate the Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 23.3 points and shooting 40% from three. He also averaged 14 points with 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists in Summer League with the Sixers.

The Thunder's 15-man roster is now pretty much set.
