Charlotte Hornets Provide Update On LaMelo Ball's Latest Injuries

Here we go again. For the third time this season, Charlotte Hornets All-Star LaMelo Ball will miss time due to an ankle ankle. He will not play in the team's next game against the Atlanta Hawks, and his status for future games is still up in the air.

The team has announced that Ball will be listed as "doubtful" for Saturday’s game against Atlanta with a left ankle sprain and left wrist soreness. Both injuries occurred during the Hornets' game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, and he has experienced soreness ever since.

The ankle sprain occurred on Wednesday night when teammate PJ Washington came down hard on Ball's ankle in the 3rd quarter. He participated in non-contact portions of practice today in Atlanta, and will undergo additional evaluation moving forward.

The All-Star guard has already missed 24 games this season due to bad sprains to the ankle on two occasions.
