NBA Rumors: Raptors "Taking Calls" On OG Anunoby; 2 West Powers Linked As Suitors

He might be out for several games with a wrist sprain, but that hasn't stopped OG Anunoby's name from being front and center on the trade market. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Masai Ujiri And Co. are now listening to offers:

"The Raptors are taking calls on OG Anunoby," said Shams, "the (New York) Knicks are willing to give up multiple first-round picks. But another team that's emerged in the past week is the Phoenix Suns. They have the assets: 8 first-round draft picks at their disposal... They've got players, like Cam Johnson, they've got expiring contracts like Dario Saric, Jae Crowder."

It was impossible to miss it at Footprint Center Monday night, as Ujiri and Suns GM James Jones retreated down the tunnel together... to talk trade? That's the speculation, naturally.

One Phoenix report claimed that the Raptors are hoping to get off of Anunoby's contract before having to pay him after next season.

Another team that's emerging as a possible Anunoby suitor is the Memphis Grizzlies. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, "There’s been some speculation from a few rival executives that the Memphis Grizzlies could make a run at OG Anunoby, given their surplus of draft picks in the years to come."

Nine days and counting till the trade deadline.
