Sacramento Kings De'Aaron Fox Lights Up Utah Jazz

Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox had a fourth quarter for the ages Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz. The sixth-year star scored 22 points in the game's final period, including the game-winner in the final second to wrap up a 117-115 win.

Fox finished his night with 37 points, hitting 15 of his 22 field goal attempts while adding three rebounds and six assists. It was his highest-scoring game so far this season.

With his team-leading 23.8 points per game, Fox has been a big part of the Kings' promising start to the 2022-2023 season. At 20-16, they currently rank fifth in the Western Conference standings. They have a real chance of breaking the NBA's longest active postseason drought; they haven't made the playoffs since 2006. They have a realistic shot of at least making the play-in tournament this season.

The Kings have a short turnaround following their dramatic victory; they host the Atlanta Hawks later tonight.
