Mac McClung Stuns Basketball World With 540 Dunk To Take Crown

The looks on his peers' faces said it all:

Mac McClung, the first G Leaguer ever to participate, stunned the basketball world, and very possibly saved the NBA Slam Dunk Contest at the same time, with his insane performance at All-Star Saturday Night.

He topped it off with a "540" dunk in the Finals, to take home the hardware.

Both Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal exclaimed that McClung "has saved the dunk contest."

Afterwards, the 24-year-old reveled in the moment.

"It's a blessing, a great opportunity... It's just kind of a surreal moment, it happened so fast, it's kind of a blur right now. But, yeah, really great."

And his pops was plenty proud as well: "So proud, he did such a great job. He looked like he could fly tonight... It was just magical."

Lucky for Philadelphia 76ers fans, they’ll be able to watch McClung in action (assuming Doc Rivers gives him some PT), as the Sixers just signed him to a two-way contract right before the break.
