NBA Rumors: 2 Teams Linked To Cam Reddish; Expected To Be Traded This Week

27 consecutive DNP-CDs. Cam Reddish has been nailed to Tom Thibodeau's bench for that long. Two months. Not one single minute of action. There's no doubt he's on the move by February 9th. For his sake, let's hope so.

According to NBA Insider Chris Haynes, there are a couple of teams that are front and center in trying to land Reddish from the New York Knicks.

So two teams that I’ve heard tied to Cam Reddish… Cleveland is a team that I was told that has a really good shot at making this deal work, making it happen. The other team? Dallas.

The Knicks' asking price for Reddish has apparently dropped from two second-round picks to perhaps just one and salary filler.

The Cavs have been searching for a wing with size who can defend, and Reddish, 6'8", the former No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, could be the answer. Second-year man Dylan Windler and his expiring $4M contract, along with a pick, could get this done.

The Mavericks have also tried to land the 23-year-old, but they unfortunately don't have the similarly-priced expiring contract to make the money work on the trade, says Insider Marc Stein.

Stein also heard that the Knicks had their eye on the Mavs' Reggie Bullock (a Thibodeau favorite) as a potential return, but now it apparently turns out that "the Bullock fandom in the Knicks front office is not exactly unanimous."

New York traded a protected first-round pick and Kevin Knox – a former first-round pick – to land Reddish last January. He's essentially been in Thibodeau's doghouse ever since.
