NBA Rumors: Mavericks Looking At More Than One Bogdanovic

The Dallas Mavericks are busy on a few fronts as we quickly approach the trade deadline this coming Thursday. Yes, they're one of the teams named in the Kyrie Irving trade talks, but they're also looking for shooting and floor spacing.

To that end, they seem to be suitors for not one, but two Bogdanovices.

Vince Goodwill of Yahoo Sports reports that Dallas is interested in both Bogdan Bogdanovic and Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Detroit Pistons' Bojan Bogdanovic has been the subject of trade rumours all season, as the veteran sharpshooter is having a career year, averaging 21.4 points per game, while shooting 41.9% from three.

But he's also providing an experienced, stabilizing force for the young Pistons, and they've been sending out word around the league that they're not really interested in dealing him. They signed him to a two-year extension earlier this season. They would have to be blown away by any offer.

Bogdan Bogdanovic of the Atlanta Hawks, not related to Bojan, is also having another nice season; he's the model of consistency, scoring about 15 points a game off the bench for the 4th straight year. He, however, is expected to be opting out of his contract at season's end to become a free agent. Due to that, he could be more easily obtainable.

The Mavs have a lot of work to do to help beef up their roster around potential MVP candidate Luka Doncic, and they only have less than five days to do it.
