Dallas Mavericks Star To Be Suspended For One Game

The Dallas Mavericks made one of the biggest splashes at the 2022/23 NBA trade deadline when they acquired Kyrie Irving from the Brooklyn Nets, but unfortunately, that move hasn't paid off yet, as they sit at just 7-13 since acquiring him.

On Sunday, they were dealt a double blow, as the team were not only beaten by the Charlotte Hornets, but after picking up his 16th technical foul of the season, superstar guard Luka Doncic will be suspended for their next game.

As of yesterday, the team officially fell out of the play-in race, as they fell to 36-39, good for 11th place in the Western Conference standings, and if they are to turn it around, they'll need to pick up a big win without their biggest star in the lineup.
