Free Agent Big Man To Join 3rd Team In Past Month

He had a bit of a run with the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this season; then signed a 10-day with the New York Knicks earlier this month. Now New York City native Moses Brown will shift from Manhattan to Brooklyn, according to NBA Insider Shams Charania.

Shams says that the Brooklyn Nets are closing in on a deal with Brown, who was just coming off his 10-day contract with the New York Knicks, in which he didn't get into a game.

The 23-year-old Brown was on a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers and got into 34 games with the team; he averaged 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in just 8.5 minutes per contest. But the Clips waived him about a month ago.

The 7'2" center is in his 4th NBA season, having appeared in 126 career games, averaging 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in stints with the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Clippers.
