Kyrie Irving Has Fan Ejected In Latest Mavericks Embarrassment

While the Dallas Mavericks continue their late-season swoon, Kyrie Irving continues to be more concerned with how the fans are treating him than the team's fortunes. He asked the refs to eject a Charlotte fan during the team's latest loss to the Hornets, on Sunday.

Irving explained the incident, from his perspective, afterwards.

"He just called me on my name, so I just had to make sure I looked him eye-to-eye, see if he would say it to my face. A lot of fans say things when you're turning your head... So he yelled it, I handled it."

As usual, it's unclear exactly what Irving meant, but once again, his attention on the fans usurped his ability to help on the court, as he went an ugly 5-for-15 in yet another embarrassing loss for the Mavs, who are quickly slipping from playoff/play-in contention. They currently sit 11th in the West, one game back of the play-in.

Just a few days back, Irving ripped into Dallas fans who were booing him after another shocking loss to the Hornets.
