Milwaukee Bucks Stars to Miss Monday's Game Against Detroit Pistons

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without their two leading scorers for tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons. The team declared via the NBA Injury Report that Giannis Antetokounmpo (right knee) and Jrue Holiday (personal reasons) will both sit for the Monday night matchup.

Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks in points per game (31.1), rebounds per game (11.7), and usage rate (38.7) over his 59 appearances. Holiday leads the team in assists per game (7.3), and his 18.9 points per game trail only Antetokounmpo. Both were active for Saturday's 129-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Bucks are 53-21 and first in the Eastern Conference, and they're facing a Pistons squad with an NBA-worst 16-58 record. They've likely surmised that they can handle their business tonight without their best players.

Antetokounmpo and Holiday will have a chance to return to action when the Bucks visit the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
