Officials “F—king Ridiculous": Fred VanVleet Goes OFF On Officials, Singles One Out

In an expletive-laced call out rarely, if ever heard before, Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet got personal in his attack on a specific official and the refs in general after the Raptors game with the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night.

"I'll take a fine...Ben Taylor was f--king terrible tonight." Fred is taking numbers and naming names.

“Most of the refs are trying hard. I like a lot of the refs,” VanVleet said in the middle of his rant. “They’re trying hard. They’re pretty fair and communicate well. And then you got the other ones who just want to be d--ks and just kind of f—k up the game."

“There’s a fine line, obviously, I understand that,” VanVleet said. “But I think the jurisdiction and the power trip that we’ve been on this year with some of our officials in this league is getting out of hand. And I’ll take my fine for speaking on it, but … this is f—--g ridiculous.

“I think that most nights, out of the three (referees), there’s one or two that just f--k the game up. It’s been like that a couple of games in a row,” VanVleet continued. “...You come out tonight, competing pretty hard and I get a bulls—t tech that changes the whole dynamic of the game, changed the whole flow of the game.”

No doubt Fred will be paying a hefty fine to the NBA for his rant. But it sounds like it'll be well worth it for him to have said his piece.
