NBA Rumors: Brooklyn Nets Expected To Pursue Superstar Point Guard This Off-Season

The Brooklyn Nets began the 2023 NBA season with a trio of superstars that were expected to finally take them into NBA Championship contention, but after two massive trades, they're now left with some solid young players and a plethora of picks, making this off-season a very interesting one.

While the team could look to build around the likes of Mikal Bridges, Ben Simmons, Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton, they also now have draft capital to spend, and according to multiple NBA executives, they could look to target Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.

While Dame has remained faithful to the Blazers thus far in his career, it's becoming clear that he is more and more frustrated with the franchise, and if pairing him with Bridges and this young core makes the Nets a contender in the East, it makes sense if that's the way they want to go.
