Miami Heat Survive History In Game 7, Advance To NBA Finals

The Miami Heat were one loss away from creating the worst kind of history in the NBA, as it would have been the first blown 3-0 lead in the history of the league, but on the back of an outstanding performance from Caleb Martin (26 points) and Jimmy Butler (28 points), they will advance to their second Finals in the past four seasons.

While Boston kept it close early, Miami sailed through comfortably for the rest of the game, ending it with a score of 103-84, and now, they will battle Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, who are aiming for their first NBA Championship in franchise history.

As for the Boston Celtics, this off-season will now be crucial to their future, as both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are eligible for contract extensions, and after failing to go the whole way once again, questions will now be asked about their future together. Ultimately, it was a solid series between two great teams, but after the 3-0 comeback, the Miami Heat are now off to the NBA Finals once more.
