NBA Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is one of the top pending UFAs heading into the offseason. If he decides to move on from the Dallas Mavericks, there is no question that the star point guard will receive plenty of interest around the league. As a result, let's discuss three potential free-agent destinations for him.

Phoenix Suns: The Phoenix Suns were interested in Irving leading up to the deadline, and it is rumored that they still are very open to bringing him in. It ultimately makes sense, as the Suns are in win-now mode, and bringing in another electrifying talent like Irving could be exactly the jolt they need to make that come to fruition next season.

Los Angeles Lakers: Irving has long been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, and it would be great to see him reunite with LeBron James. This move would allow the Lakers to sport a Big Three consisting of Irving, James, and Anthony Davis, and that would make them simply lethal on paper. Although there have been reports that the Lakers are no longer interested in Irving, it is something they should reconsider, as it could cement them as a top team in the NBA again, and he's made it known that he wants to be a Laker.

Miami Heat: The Miami Heat were linked to Irving leading up to the deadline, and they could look to bring him in again this summer. He would give Jimmy Butler another star again, and it could be the move that the Heat need to carry over their postseason success to next year.
