NBA Rumors: Eastern Conference Team Has Reached Out To Houston Rockets About Top Pick

 

The Toronto Raptors have been struggling to put together an elite roster since the miracle run of 2019 saw them capture their first NBA Championship in franchise history, and now, it appears a rebuild or a re-tool could be on the way.

In the past few weeks, other teams have been linked to Pascal Siakham and Fred VanVleet, and now, it looks like they're interested in looking towards the future, as they have now reportedly contacted the rising Houston Rockets about the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

It's unclear what Toronto would be offering for the pick, and whether or not they'd be willing to give up one of their veteran pieces, but if they do want to push a rebuild, pairing the No. 4 pick with Scottie Barnes could be a great start to their future.
