NBA Rumors: Former Philadelphia 76ers Coach Wants To Continue Coaching

Despite an incredible MVP level campaign from Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers were once again unable to progress to the Eastern Conference Finals, and after years and years of falling short, it finally resulted in the firing of Head Coach Doc Rivers.

After stints with Boston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, Rivers has cemented himself as one of the best regular season coaches in the NBA, but with just one ring coming with a stacked Celtics team, many are beginning to question now whether Rivers can still get it done at the elite level as a coach.

Now, Chris Haynes has reported that Rivers 'still has a desire to continue coaching' if he's given the right opportunity, and with so many coaches being fired in the early part of the off-season, there's no doubting that a team out there could certainly use him.
