NBA Rumors: Philadelphia 76ers Star 'Very Serious' About A Return To Former Team

Despite having the 2022/23 NBA MVP on their squad, the Philadelphia 76ers were blown out by the Boston Celtics in Game 7 on Sunday, leading to yet another failed run with Joel Embiid, and now, perhaps the most crucial off-season in recent franchise history is upon them.

Perhaps the biggest domino that will fall is James Harden, who has a player option in the final year of his contract, meaning he can opt out and hit free agency, and if he does that, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has revealed that he is 'very serious' about potentially returning to the Houston Rockets.

With a young squad that features the likes of Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., Alperen Sengun, Kenyon Martin Jr. and Kevin Porter, the addition of a veteran superstar like Harden could elevate them greatly, and while they may not be a contender immediately, it doesn't appear that Harden would be too bothered by that.
