Report: New York Knicks To Part Ways With Key Executive

While the New York Knicks still haven't found sustained success for over two decades, the team has shown plenty of improvement over the past three years, and while it's tough to contribute that to one person, it's safe to say that General Manager Scott Perry has played a crucial role in the construction of this current roster.

Perry has served in the role of General Manager since 2017, and while his early tenure was a struggle, he promised Knicks fans that this team would get younger and more athletic, and that's exactly what has happened thus far, with key additions like Jalen Brunson, R.J. Barrett, Mitchell Robinson, Julius Randle, Immanuel Quickley and other key pieces.

While a lot of the attention goes to President of Basketball Operations Leon Rose, Perry has been a steady figure in the Knicks front office, and now as the team look to build on a promising 2022/23 campaign, they'll be looking to fill the hole with another fantastic GM.
