Breaking: Chicago Bulls Closing In On Extending Veteran Big Man

The Chicago Bulls disappointed in a big way this past season, as the core of DeMar Derozan, Zach Lavine, Nikola Vucevic and Alex Caruso were meant to take them to the playoffs, but unfortunately they managed a play-in exit, with many questions left looming large over their future.

However, it appears the team is confident in this core, as it has now been reported that the team are closing in on a three-year, $60 million deal with Vucevic, which would mean they are at least looking to compete with this group once again in 2023-24.

In 33.5 minutes a game this past year, Vucevic averaged a solid 17.6 PPG, 3.2 APG and 11.0 RPG, and if the team can stay healthy and find the chemistry and momentum, they could be a contending team in the Eastern Conference this year.
