Breaking: Draymond Green Makes Huge Decision On Player Option

With a $27.5M player option for the final year of his contract, the Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green had a big decision to make. That, he's now done, officially declining that option and becoming a free agent.

Green has been part of the Warriors' core during their four-title run over the last nine years, and what this decision means for the future of the Dubs will be heavily speculated on, though he has said he wants to stay in The Bay.

According to Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Green's agent Rich Paul says "We will continue to talk to Golden State and explore all options."

Fellow ESPN Insider Marc Spears has already reported that "the Warriors are going to do everything in their power... to bring him back."

Nevertheless, teams will come a-calling, notably the Los Angeles Lakers.

Green 33, averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game last season.
