NBA Rumors: Houston Rockets Now Leading Contenders To Land Eastern Conference Star

 

The Houston Rockets are reportedly preparing to make some big moves this off-season, with both Fred VanVleet and Brooks Lopez firmly in their sights, but that's not all, as the team are now considered the favourite to land former LA Laker and Washington Wizard forward Kyle Kuzma. 

With a talented young core led by Jalen Green, Alperin Sengun and Kevin Porter Jr., this is no doubt a team on the rise, and it appears with new Head Coach Ime Udoka, they're looking to make a big push towards the playoffs in year one.

Kuzma would be a great pickup for Houston, as he had a career year in 2022-23, scoring 21.2 PPG along with 7.2 RPG and 3.2 APG, and if they can put the right talent around him, he could no doubt be a key piece for a big post-season run.
