NBA Rumors: Eastern Team Not Interested in Karl-Anthony Towns

The New York Knicks have been connected to several notable players this offseason. One specific player who has been speculated as a trade target is Karl-Anthony Towns, but water has now been poured on that fire. Per Fred Katz, he heard that the Minnesota Timberwolves' price for Towns is "sky high." With that, another source told him that the Knicks has not expressed interest in Towns.

Although Towns would be a major addition to the Knicks' roster, it appears that they have their attention elsewhere given this latest report. It ultimately makes sense that they are looking elsewhere, as Minnesota's price may just be too high for New York to take on.

Towns appeared in 29 games this past season, where he averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per contest.

It will be interesting to see if the Knicks make a big move before the start of the season, but we should not expect KAT to be heading to New York any time soon.
