NBA Rumors: Portland Trail Blazers Aiming To Repair Relationship With Big Star

 

The Portland Trail Blazers have been at the centre of many trade rumours this off-season, all surrounding their All-NBA star Damian Lillard, with many around the league believing a deal will be done to send him to the Miami Heat before the 2023-24 season kicks off.

According to some influential people around the league however, the Blazers could be trying to mend their relationship with Lillard, with the potential goal in mind of keeping him around with the core of Shaedon Sharpe, Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant and building into a contender.

After years of patience, Lillard finally asked for a trade this off-season, and while it's still the likely outcome, there's at least going to be an effort from the team to keep him as the Blazers look to build in the incredibly tough Western Conference.
