Top 3 Landing Spots For Free Agent Kelly Oubre Jr.

The 2023 NBA free agent class has been significantly reduced over the last three week, but it hasn't been picked bone dry just yet. There's actually a 20 PPG scorer still available: Kelly Oubre Jr. 

Let's have a look at three teams that would serve as top landing spots for the 27-year-old. 

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs have been mentioned as having Oubre on their radar, and why not? Outside of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, the Mavs need to get some offense from somewhere, and adding a 20-point scorer on the wing would be a big help to this roster. Dallas will be losing 17+ points a game from their lineup with the impending departure of free agent Christian Wood, so Oubre makes a lot of sense to replace that scoring.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers are down about 25 points a game with the offseason losses of Georges Niang, Shake Milton and Jalen McDaniels. Oubre Jr. could help replace a huge chunk of that offense as the Sixers are dealing with a likely future without James Harden as well.

Memphis Grizzlies

With the (forced) departure of Dillon Brooks, the Grizz lost some wing depth, and are in need of replacing it. The 8-year-veteran Oubre might not be able to fill the defensive void, but he'll be a bigger offensive weapon.
