"Beyond Repair": Exclusive James Harden Interview

We watched the video from earlier this week when James Harden called his general manager in Philadelphia "a liar." So it shouldn't be much of a surprise to hear the latest from The Beard, in an exclusive interview with Houston reporter Jason Bristol. Harden says the relationship with Morey is beyond repair.

Bristol asked Harden if thought it was too late to repair the relationship and Harden answered, "I think so."

"I've been patient all summer," Harden said of his situation with the team. "For me, it's just focus on what I can control and getting ready for this season." But where he'll be for the coming season is still very much up in the air.

After it was revealed last weekend that the Sixers are no longer looking to trade Harden and plan to expect him to be in training camp with the Philadelphia 76ers next month, the former Houston Rocket and 10-time All-Star dropped his latest bomb in front of an audience on his China tour:

"Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be a part of an organization that he's a part of," Harden said Monday. "Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be a part of an organization that he's a part of."

It's the story that keeps on giving, and we'll be continuing to follow it through to its conclusion, whatever and whenever that may be.
