Young San Antonio Spurs Star Reveals His Olympic Intentions For 2024

The San Antonio Spurs won the lottery this summer when they landed Victor Wembanyama and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, and with all the hype in the world, the French star is expected to be an impact player immediately in the NBA.

Now, after missing the 2023 FIBA World Cup in order to prepare for his rookie season in the NBA, the 18-year old has officially declared his intentions to play for France in the 2024 Olympic Games in his home country.

As he prepares to play power forward in his rookie year, French fans will have dreams of pairing him with Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier and Nicolas Batum, and while there will be some stacked teams there, this should be among the very best.
