Bucks Sign Son Of Former Milwuakee Bucks Legend

The Milwaukee Bucks have reached into the past to pull out a very familiar name to Wisconsin NBA fans, as they've signed the son of their one-time No. 1 overall pick and Bucks' legend, Glenn Robinson. Glenn Robinson III will now try to walk in his father's very large footsteps in Milwaukee.

It's an Exhibit 10 deal for the younger Robinson, which means if he doesn't make the team out of camp, he can head to their G League affiliate, and be eligible for a $75,000 bonus if spends 60 days with the Wisconsin Herd.

The 'Big Dog', his father, played seven seasons with the Bucks, scoring over 20 points a game in all but one of those years.

Now 29, Glenn III did not have quite the same impact in his seven seaons in the NBA, playing for six different teams and compiling a 5.9 points per game average, while shooting 37.3% from behind the arc in about 17 minutes per night. He last appeared in an NBA game in 2021.

But outside of the confines of the 48-minute games, Robinson III had a dynamic impact, winning the league's Slam Dunk competition in 2017.
