More Woes For The Knicks and OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby made an immediate and tremendous impact on the New York Knicks lineup upon arriving from the Toronto Raptors at New Year's. But then he missed 18 games with a right elbow injury and just came back for just three contests before it flared up once again and forced him back to the sidelines. Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports:

“I’m told that OG Anunoby’s going to be out more than just tonight…that right elbow’s flared up again. They need it to calm down. How long he’s out is unclear. But it’s certainly a concern for Knicks…"

The Knicks are also without Julius Randle, and don't know how long he will be out, either. He hasn't played since January 27th due to a shoulder dislocation. He decided not to undergo the surgical route.

As for Anunoby, he averaged 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals in his 17 games with the Knicks, not to mention the record-setting plus-minus numbers.

The Knicks currently stand 4th in the East, but with a precarious half game lead over the Orlando Magic are the final home court seeding in the first round of the playoffs.
