It's a four year, $212 million deal, and he now joins former MVP Joel Embiid and budding superstar Tyrese Maxey to form a formidable Big 3 in the East, challenging the Boston Celtics and the rising New York Knicks for supremacy next season.
George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists this past season with the Clippers, but the relationship became strained after his teammate for the last five years, Kawhi Leonard was given a three-year extension by the team back in January—but none was forthcoming for George.
