NBA Trade Rumors: Asking Price Revealed for Brandon Ingram
With their playoff hopes already dashed, with a 5-29 record, the New Orleans Pelicans have one top priority going forward this season—trading Brandon Ingram before they lose him for nothing in free agency this summer.
And if there's any team out there that's interested, the price tag that the Pels are putting on him in any trade has been revealed.
In exploratory trade talks on Brandon Ingram, the Pelicans are reportedly seeking a prospect, draft pick and expiring contracts to dip under the luxury tax.

Per insider Evan Sidery, the Pelicans are reportedly seeking a prospect, draft pick and expiring contracts that would allow them to get under the luxury tax.
But the thing is, teams that are interested will not only have to meet the Pels' price, but also Ingram's: He is in the final year of his $36M AAV contract, and is looking for a max four-year, $200 million extension. Will there be a team willing to give it to him? The 6'8" forward is uber-talented, averaging over 22 points a game over the last six seasons, along with about 5.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds as well.
But it's a challenge for him to stay on the court. He averages less than 60 games per season.
Some of the teams noted to be poking around on Ingram include the Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Golden State Warriors.
