Shams Charania said "this is a highly unusual and stunning development"... The test found an "improper medication for a mental health issue.
"(In 2020) Paul George was outspoken about a mental health issue that he faced in those years."
The massive ban will keep him out of the Sixers lineup until March 25th, and will cost him $12 million in missed salary.

George has taken a terrible tumble from the heights of once being a superstar in the league, to being the owner of the NBA's worst contract.
In the middle of an ill-advised four-year, $211 million deal, George is averaging a 14-year low 16 points per game and 5.1 boards. He played 41 games in the first year of his new pact with Philly last season, and has played only 27 this year.
