Kevin Durant Ready to Move on Yet Again? 2 Landing Spots To Watch

Has Kevin Durant played his last game with the Houston Rockets? The team staved off elimination in Game 4 of their series with the LA Lakers. But this season has not gone according to plan after their big splash of landing Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade last summer. KD is currently out with a sprained ankle and a deep bone bruise.

We all know that Kevin Durant gets antsy pretty quickly if his teams are not winning. He was happy to get out of Phoenix last summer after his pairing with Devin Booker didn't pay dividends. Now, we're hearing that he could be ready to move on yet again.

In fact, says insider Evan Sidery, if he doesn't come back before this series is over, he may be one-and-done in Houston. Then he went ahead and named two likely destinations.

Sidery says the Miami Heat and New York Knicks would be teams to monitor if KD wants out again. He's been linked to those teams before.

Durant put up his usual all-star numbers during the regular season, playing 78 games for the Rockets, but it hasn't gotten them any closer to being a true title contender. They finished with the same 52 wins as the previous season, but dropped from the 2nd-seed in the West to the 5th this season. That left them without home court advantage in their first-round series with the Lakers, and were down a near-insurmountable 3-0 before winning Game 4.

Durant has missed the last two games, but the Rockets haven't yet ruled him out for the rest of the series.

So maybe he dons a Houston uniform again. Or maybe not. This certainly wouldn't be the first time Durant has decided to bail out on a team before the job was complete.
