Video: 2 Ejections in Knicks vs. Hawks Wild Brawl in Game 6

The Atlanta Hawks had given the New York Knicks a real battle in their first round series through the first 5 games. However, in Game 6, with the Knicks absolutely blowing out the Hawks on their way to a second round berth, that battle hit the hardcourt in a wild, all-out brawl. Both Mitchell Robinson and Dyson Daniels were ejected.

Robinson was fuming and it took an army to hold him back from going at Daniels—time after time.

The incident occured with the two players grappling during a free throw attempt, with the Knicks holding an eye-popping 72-22 lead late in the 2nd quarter. No, that's not a typo. New York raced out to a 50-point lead in the first half to put this series away early in Game 6. At 83-36 after two quarters, it's the largest halftime lead in a playoff game in NBA history.

In the first quarter, Robinson actually left the game after landing awkwardly on his leg. After making his way back to the bench later, he had to head back to the locker room to be evaluated.

He eventually re-entered the game, but now will get the rest of the night off after the wild brawl.

Once the Knicks put the finishing touches on the game, they will win the series 4-2 and advance to face the winner of the Boston Celtics/Philadelphia 76ers series. Boston leads 3-2 with Game 6 ongoing in Philly.
