Insider: Cavaliers 'Must Consider' This Offer For Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Cleveland Cavaliers have some changes to make this summer. They're just over the second apron, and they will need to cut salary to get out from under the restrictive measures that the second apron brings.
Aside from that, they need to figure out if their Core Four is what they want to move forward with. Insider Brian Windhorst feels they're going to have to revisit a trade offer that they were said to have no interest in earlier in the season.

“I don't think it'll be long before you start to hear the Cavs attached to Giannis Antetokounmpo. Would they consider entering that market?
"If they put Evan Mobley on the table...they drafted him to be another Giannis. What if they could turn him into Giannis with Harden and Donovan Mitchell on the roster?"
Why the Cavaliers need to consider a Giannis trade
In their four-game sweep at the hands of the New York Knicks in the Western Conference Final, the Cavs lost by an average of over 19 points per game. Yikes. If anything will spark some major changes, it'll be that.
While Cleveland fought off a couple of tough competitors in winning two seven-game series over Toronto and Detroit in the first two rounds of the playoffs, they are clearly not in the Knicks' class, and will need to do something drastic if they hope to have a chance to get out of the East next season.
As Windy notes, Mobley hasn't quite turned out to be the Giannis-like superstar they had envisioned. Maybe it's time to actually turn him into Giannis, if the Milwaukee Bucks are still interested in that type of deal.
