Trade Could Be Coming For Anthony Davis: Insider
We heard all offseason how Anthony Davis was 'bought in' on being aWashington Wizard. However, he became eligible to sign a lucrative multi-year extension this summer, but both sides agreed to table contract talks until later in the regular season.
And that has led ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk to suggest that his stay in D.C. could still be a short one.

AD is a major wild card move for the Wizards, as the 10-time All-Star and three-time blocked-shots king has simply not been able to stay on the floor. He played just 20 games total last season, none after coming to the Wizards in a late-season trade.
Davis' notoriety for being unable to stay in the lineup famously led to Charles Barkley nicknaming him "Street Clothes", as that's usually what Davis can be seen in on the bench.
He has missed 91 games in the last two seasons alone, and missed another 105 games in the three seasons from 2020-21 through 2022-23.
But he's supposedly in good shape this summer, and we'll see how his pairing with new point guard Trae Young works out, along with No. 1 pick in this year's draft, AJ Dybantsa.
A slow start for the Wizards and/or AD, and we could be looking at a third trade for Davis in the last two years.
