James Harden being linked to the 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have some major decisions to make that are going to have lasting impacts on their franchise. The team is in search of their next head coach and Mike D'Antoni's name appears to be cemented at the top of the priority list. With D'Antoni as their bench boss comes a lot of things, and this includes becoming an attractive destination for the Rockets' James Harden.

As per John Clark of NBC Sports, having D'Antoni calling the shots in Philly should catch James Harden's attention come free agency in 2021-22.

So should the potential of a Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and James Harden Big 3. This could line itself up to be one of the scariest trios we've seen together as with Simmons transition game, to go along with Harden's scoring abilities and to top it all off with one of the best Bigs in the game. the 76ers could be a serious problem in the East.

Could a more experienced Harden, (who would be 33 by the time he started his 76ers career), be able to keep up to the run and gun D'Antoni style in his elder years? You would have to think so, for at least the first couple years of his deal.

The money may be an issue, Harden's age may be an issue, and as of right now Mike D'Antoni hasn't been named their coach. That's step one, after that....anything can happen!
