BREAKING NBA News: Damian Lillard is DONE in Milwaukee
Following up their shocking signing of Myles Turner in free agency, the Milwaukee Bucks have now stunned the basketball world once again, waiving Damian Lillard, who has $113 million remaining on his contract.

Lillard suffered a torn Achilles in this year's playoffs, and will miss all of next season.
The Bucks will be paying him $22.5 million a year for the next half a decade, in the waive-and-stretch move. Milwaukee had to make the move in order to make room for the new contract of Myles Turner.
"He was surprised. ... [The Bucks] did not tell Dame that this was coming... I was told that Dame found out about his situation just like everybody else found out," said Insider Chris Haynes.
However, updated reporting later in the day indicated that Lillard was "elated" by the move. Per Sam Amick, “From the frustrations that came with the on-court fit to Lillard struggling at times while away from his children, it was no secret that Lillard wasn’t long for Milwaukee. Now, he leaves with a level of freedom not often seen in pro sports.”
Giannis Not Happy about Lillard being waived
On the contrary, however, we're hearing that Dame's former Bucks teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is NOT happy with the move to waive Lillard.BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is not pleased with the team’s decision to waive Damian Lillard, league sources tell me. pic.twitter.com/NGqJIWRQeq

Now as a free agent, it'll be interesting to see what team might take a chance on Lillard, who will be 36 by the time he's ready to return from his Achilles injury. And how much will he resemble his old superstar self? The Miami Heat have already been linked to Dame.
