Ex-NBA Ref Tim Donaghy Back In The News

Tim Donaghy has made his way back into a headline and this time it has nothing to do with betting the over. Donaghy, according to Sports Illustrated, has agreed to be an official for Major League Wrestling.

Not that your back after googling - Major League Wrestling, Donaghy who is now 53, mentioned he's excited to get out into the squared circle and provide some entertainment for the fans.

If there is a good response, who knows where it can go from here," Donaghy said. "I'm willing to do whatever I can to make the show entertaining and fun for everyone watching, and I'm excited to be a part of it.
If you don't remember exactly who 'Tim Donaghy' is, here's a quick Coles notes. He was involved in a gambling scandal in the NBA, where he bet on games he was officiating and leaked a bunch of inside info to other gamblers. This included injuries to criminal associates during the 2005-06 and 06-07 seasons. Donaghy pleaded guilty of two felonies, and since served 11 months of the two concurrent 15-month sentences.
