Breaking: Russell Westbrook Wants Out of Houston

Big news out of Houston as according to reports, Rockets' point-guard Russell Westbrook has requested a trade.

All of this after one season in Houston via a massive trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's quite ironic both Chris Paul and Westbrook could be on the move in the coming weeks.

Rumor has James Harden still being committed to the Rockets and no word yet on where Westbrook prefers to play. Have to think a market like the New York Knicks will be near the top of Westbrook's list, as reports have him looking for an opportunity to be 'the guy' again, and be the dominant floor general on the court. A young team like the Knicks needs a voice, could be a perfect match. Keep an eye on the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets as well.

Westbrook is owed $131.5 million over the next three seasons and holds a $46.7 million player option in 2022-23. Given the current times, his suitors will be limited but make no mistakes, if a team is able to add Westbrook, they will.
