Rumor Has Raptors and Cavaliers Discussing Trade

The Toronto Raptors are trying to take each game in stride so far this regular season as the team is unfamiliarly struggling. A 2-8 start is something the team is not used to, but on the bright side the Raps are only three games out of a playoff spot.

Because of how wide open the eastern conference is and the fact the Raptors know they are a much better team than their record shows, Raptors president Masai Ujiri will continue to work the phones to improve his ball club.

According to sources at MLSE, the Raptors have been in contact with the Cleveland Cavaliers regarding their front court. The Raptors currently have Chris Boucher as their #1 big, and that's simply not going to get the job done. The team lost Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol to free agency and it's hurt their rebounding numbers and their production from the five spot tremendously. The new recruits they brought in are quite frankly not getting the job done.

Some names to look out for are Andre Drummond and JaVale McGee. Both players are available, however, it's going to come down to what the Raptors are willing to spend to upgrade their front court.

Keep an eye on these two teams as both the Raps and the Cavs will be busy making moves in the coming weeks.
