LA Clippers Young Forward Generating Trade Interest

The Los Angeles Clippers have battled a ton of adversity over the course of the past two seasons and this year has been an injury filled campaign. While the team is still performing at a high level with a 21-9 record, good for 3rd in the Western Conference, there's going to be some minor changes made to the roster over the course of the next few weeks.

The Clippers will be preparing themselves for another playoff run and one name to watch out for is Mfiondu Kabengele, as the young forward is generating a ton of interest on the trade market.

Kabengele was the 27th pick at last year's NBA draft and during his rookie year he was a standout on the Clippers G League team where he averaged 18.7 points per game.

This season the 23-year-old has only appeared in 17 games, playing very limited minutes, but his skill set is certainly on many team's radars. The 6'9 PF/C is extremely athletic and having an uncle like Dikembe Mutombo, you know Kabengele can play some defense.

The Clippers are forward heavy, so it's been tough for Kabengele to find a consistent spot in the rotation but opposing teams will be checking on his availability as we lead up to the trade deadline.
