Golden State Almost Traded Rookie James Wiseman

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had some interesting comments recently about trade discussions that took place before the March 25th trade deadline. Turns out teams were calling the Warriors about rookie James Wiseman and the Warriors were listening.

Sure, Kerr may have missed a few names on his short list named Doncic, James and Durant, to name a few, but that's not the point here. The Warriors were looking to improve their club at the deadline and were willing to give up on a 20-year-old center, who they selected with the second overall pick.

Expect to see the Warriors listen once again this offseason as the team will try to get back to a powerhouse with Klay Thompson in the lineup. As for Wiseman, that's anyone's guess at this point as trade chatter will pick up once again in the offseason.
