Los Angeles Clippers Dealt Tough Injury News

The Los Angeles Clippers will be without Patrick Beverley for the next 3-4 weeks as the defensive minded point-guard is out with a wrist injury.

While it's likely only a month there's a chance it could be longer as Beverley underwent surgery on his left hand to repair a fractured bone. This injury occurred on Thursday during the fourth quarter of the Clippers victory over the Phoenix Suns.

It's the same ol' story for Pat Bev as he's had a hard time staying healthy in his career. A lot has to do with the fact he's never afraid to back down from contact and loves to play hard nosed ball. He's already missed 12 games earlier this season with knee soreness.

The 32-year-old guard is averaging 8.0 points and 2.1 assists in 31 games so far this season but he's most effective on the defensive end and the Clippers will need him healthy if they want to make some noise in the playoffs.

If you're in fantasy playoffs these next few weeks, you may want to look at Reggie Jackson who started in Beverley's place on Friday against the Houston Rockets.
